One of the things that is most frustrating to left handed people, is that they have to do almost everything backwards.  As I discovered, this is quite a disadvantage when one is trying to learn how to crochet. The instructions in the how to books were useless, and trying to learn from another person did not help either. It was not until I discovered a book that had left handed instructions that I was finally able to learn the craft. Unfortunately, these instructions were not very well designed - the gray scale images on a dark gray background did not mix well. So I took it upon myself to illustrate how to do the four most basic crochet stitches - chain stitch, single crochet, double crochet, and half-double crochet - for left handed crocheters.
