Milites ad Vitam
For most of my time at Dominican University, I have been involved with Stars for Life, a pro-life group on campus. Over the summer of 2019, we decided to host a banquet to raise funds for both our group and the Women’s Centers of Greater Chicagoland. The theme of the banquet was “Milites ad Vitam” or “Soldiers for Life” Since I am the only graphic design major in the group, I was tasked with creating all of the advertising and print items needed for the event. I decided to go with a more traditional looking flyer as our venue, had a gothic feel to it. I also pulled inspiration from the colors and logo of Dominican University. I used the school colors, white and navy blue, and mimicked the background of the school shield in the shield I created for the program. The full body of work needed for the event included flyers, paper invitations, RSVP cards, donation cards, table number cards, and programs for the event.
