Photo-shop

Many of the advertisements someone sees today have been photo-shopped, which calls into question the motives of the editors. This is especially true in the case of female models where the editors go too far, and create an image that can never be attained naturally causing great harm to the self esteem of the female race. However, much good can come out of photo-shop, making it a great tool to master. It allows the editor to change the background color, saving the expense of another shoot. It can be used to remove a random plastic bag or telephone poles to enhance the artistic quality of a picture that took hours to get the perfect shot.

In addition to the professional photos, photo-shop can be used on the non-professional or perhaps artistic level to create silly and semi-believable images. You can merge a picture of an alien and the president shaking hands, or perhaps a vortex could be placed in the middle of New York. But the funniest photo-shop by far is when you do the ultimate face-swap. This is when you carefully take a picture of someone's face, and superimpose it upon someone else. Depending upon how well it is done, you can create a pretty creepy/funny final image. Overall, photo-shop is a very powerful and useful tool. It can be used to create an image that can harm society, give it beautiful art, or leave it in stitches.
